Call for Papers

1. Abstract Submission and Registration

Online abstract submission opens on 24 December 2019 and closes on 21 May 2020.


2. Submission Timeline and Instructions

Call for Papers Open                 : 24 December 2019

Submission Deadline                : 21 May 2020

Announcement of Results       : Mid-June 2020

Confirmation by Authors          : 1 July 2020

  • The decision of the Scientific Committee is final. 

  • Abstract must contain original research material.  

  • Abstract must not be published or accepted for publication in a print or online journal and must not be presented at a scientific meeting more than 12 months prior to MSR-SSR 2020.

  • At least one author of the accepted abstract must be a participant in the conference.

  • All authors must register by 1 July 2020 for your abstracts to be published in the MSR-SSR 2020 e-programme book.


3. Guidelines on Submission of Abstract

  • Title should not exceed 20 words.

  • Abstract body should not exceed 300 words.

  • Abstract must be written exclusively in English.

  • The presenting author need not be the first author, but must be a listed author.

  • Authors’ names should be supplied in the surname-last format.

  • Use only standard abbreviations.

  • References are not required for abstract submission.

  • Tables and graphs/images will be accepted as PNG or JPG.

  • Up to two tables or images can be included in the results section.

  • Imaging techniques and diagnosis

  • Infection-related rheumatic diseases

  • Metabolic bone diseases and crystal-induced diseases

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Paediatric rheumatology

  • Psoriatic arthritis

  • Rheumatoid arthritis

  • Scleroderma, myositis and related syndromes

  • Spondylarthropathies

  • Systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogrens and Antiphospholipid syndrome

  • Systemic vasculitis

  • Miscellaneous rheumatic conditions

  • Rehabilitation for rheumatic diseases
